![]() I powered back down and replaced the old drive with the intention of researching the matter further. On power-up with the new drive in bay-1, neither drive had any lights and I eventually got a message telling me there was no boot drive. I should mention that before powering down the "bad" drive had alternating red and blue lights flasing (what does that mean?). Today, I powered down the server, swapped the "bad" drive with the new drive, and powered up. I reasoned that the drive was bad (I have no other documention on this device) and ordered a replacement drive. That utility gave showed an error on bay-1 drive and showed 0 KB size. At the suggestion of another EE expert, I downloaded and ran the HP Array Configuration Utility. ![]() It has a 2 450 GB HP DF0450B8054ĭrives in a Smart Array P410i RAID Controller.Ī few days ago, I noticed that the drive in bay 1 had a red light. I have a SBS 2008 server running on an HP Proliant. ![]()
